About Tampa Pro Landscape
Tampa Pro Landscape was built for one reason: the Tampa Bay area homeowners deserve a landscaping company that shows up when it says it will, does what it said it would do, and charges what it quoted. That sounds like a low bar. In our experience across Tampa, Riverview, and the surrounding suburbs, it isn’t.
Our service territory covers Hillsborough County and the immediately adjacent areas — Manatee to the south, Pasco to the north, Polk to the east, and Pinellas to the west. We serve Tampa proper plus Brandon, Riverview, Wesley Chapel, Carrollwood, Plant City, Temple Terrace, Town ‘n’ Country, Apollo Beach, Valrico, New Tampa, and Lutz. If you’re in that radius, your property is on our service map.
The work breaks down into six core services: lawn mowing, landscape design, irrigation, leaf removal and seasonal cleanup, hardscaping, and commercial landscaping. We don’t pretend to do everything — you won’t find us installing roofing or paving driveways. We stay inside the landscape and do that work well.

Our Approach to the Tampa Bay area Yards
Tampa sits in a warm, humid subtropical climate, which is landscaping’s polite way of saying “nothing grows easily here.” Cool-season grasses cannot survive the Florida summer at all. The warm-season grasses that do well here, like St. Augustine and Zoysia, only slow down during the short, mild winter. Every plant choice, every mowing schedule, every irrigation setting has to account for the fact that our real test is constant heat, humidity, and heavy summer rain.
We build every service program around that reality. That means we mow St. Augustine and Zoysia at the right height to protect them through heat and humidity. It means we feed and manage chinch bugs on a warm-season schedule. It means we recommend the Tampa Bay area-native and regionally adapted plantings wherever the design allows, because a switchgrass or coneflower will still be alive in year three when a Japanese maple planted in full Tampa sun has already given up.
The soil is the other half of the challenge. The sandy soil here drains almost too fast, holds little water or nutrient, and sits over only a thin layer of organic topsoil. Before we install a new bed or a hardscape, we assess drainage, amend where necessary, and build features that account for sandy, shifting soil and heavy summer rain. Shortcuts here produce failures in year two or three — and we’d rather do it once than fix it later.

Why Tampa Homeowners Choose Us
Three things set us apart from most Tampa crews: fixed scheduling, flat pricing, and subtropical Gulf Coast expertise. Your lawn gets mowed on the same day each week — not “sometime this week.” The quote is the price; we don’t tack on edging, blow-off, or fuel surcharges. And our crew leads know why St. Augustine needs a 3.5-inch mowing height in July and why a Bermuda lawn shouldn’t be overseeded at all.
Beyond the fundamentals, we show up with the same crew on your property across the season, so details don’t get lost between visits. We’re fully licensed and insured — certificate of insurance available on request, emailed directly before your first service. And when you call, you get a real person who knows your yard, not a call center forwarding tickets to whoever’s available.
Service Areas Across the Tampa Bay area
Our crews are routed daily out of central Tampa with coverage extending into all adjacent Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco County suburbs. Drive time matters — if you’re more than 30 minutes from downtown, we’ll let you know during the quote whether service makes sense for your location. For most of the metro, it does.
If you want a full breakdown of where we work and how our routing handles each suburb, our service areas page lays it out by neighborhood. Ready to get started? Request a free quote through our Free Quote page or call us at (813) 859-6506.
